Pennant Banners

Hello everyone!  I got a new Cricut Cartridge at Menards for $4.99!
It's the Tie the Knot cartridge, but it has some cute boxes and these
awesome pennants on it! I made a few to sell at my upcoming craft shows!

I used Ashlyn's Alphabet for the lettering!

The Newsprint card stock is from Stampin' Up!
Here's what it looks like hanging up! So cute!

I made a girly one too!

This lettering is from the Storybook Cartridge!
I don't know if you can see it very well, but the purple is stamped!
I used the Hearts Stampin' Wheel from Stampin' Up!

That's all for now! Thanks for visiting!

Flowers!

Ok, are these not sooo cute?

So I wanted to make some embellishments to sell at my craft shows this fall
and I decided on flowers. HEHE! They are so cute!

So, are you ready to learn how to make them?
Here we go with my first "how to!"

This is what it will look like when it's all done!

Step 1: find a cute flower punch or a flower on you Cricut!
Punch/ Cut out 3 of them.

Step 2: Add some ink to distress it a little

Step 3: Curl up the petals

Step 4: Adhere your 3 flowers together offset from each other

Step 5: Stick a brad through the middle

Step 6: Apply some dimensional adhesive to the back

And Ta Da!

Super cute! I made a ton of different colors and they only take
5 minutes to make!

I hope to see your flower creations soon!
TTFN!

Two Card Tuesday

Now, don't expect two cards EVERY Tuesday!
Or maybe that's a good idea! Hmm...

Ok, Here's card #1
It's a Bridal Shower card I made for a friend

She loves lavender, so I made it a nice mix of purples.

The "Happily Ever After" was made on my Cricut! Isn't it so cute?
I found it on the Ahslyn's Alphabet Cartridge.

Blueberry Crumble designer paper!  I think this card was made with ALL
Stampin' Up! products!

Oops, I lied! I used a We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
to round that top corner!

New Craft Loft!

Ok, I promised pics of my new Craft Loft!

Here is before, a closed up, over crowded mess!

After!

Cleaner, Organized, Open!
And my favorite part? This is what you see when you
get to the top of the stairs!

Cuteness!!!
Green is my favorite color and I LOVE love these caddies!
Here's a closer look:

Every Caddy is labeled with these cute pink tags!
(Fiskars tag punch for $2 at Flower Factory!)

And inside is a world of fun longing to be the centerpiece of my next creative masterpiece!

This embellishment organizer was a gift from Santa last year!
Thanks, Santa!

Moving down the long table, we take a stop at
Cricut Central!

Next to Cricut Central is Big Shot Station!
Accessories are conveniently located in a cute bin within easy reach!

At the end of the table is my Paper mess.
I have yet to come up with a creative solution for my patterned papers.
Solids are organized by color...the patterned papers lay in a heap on top.
I have ideas but nothing practical enough.

Another new addition to the loft is this nice inspiration spot!
I have some random things I like in the bottom right.
At bottom left are some organization ideas,
and top right are a few card sketches I want to try!

Craft Loft yeay!!! I love it! See you again soon!

Welcome Home!

Alright, I can't take ALL of the credit for this one!
This is a magazine I had never bought before.
I only bought it because it was 40% off!

And surprisingly, I found inspiration!

My Sister and her family are in the process of moving into a new home.
They have been way stressed to get it livable before school starts!
I thought it would be nice to come "home" to a little happiness in the mailbox!

I even put a 'W' on their door!
I'm pretty sure it got a smile out of them!

Card Stock: Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up!
and some random yellow I had
Stamp: Trendy Trees Stampin Wheel from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for stopping by!
Good news, my craft loft is finished with it's update!
And I love it! I will have pics up soon!

Oldies but Goodies!

Hello Everyone! It's been way too long!
I was organizing my desktop folder and I ran across these pics of cards I made forever ago!
They never made it to my blog, so here they are!

I learned how to make the petals of the flower from Scrapbooks Etc Magazine.
Don't ask me which issue, I have no clue!

The layout design also came from a magazine of some sort!
Sorry I don't know anything!

This card idea was lifted from my sister, Laura!
She made a similar card, and I decided to try one of my own!

I DO know that the card stock the sentiment is on is Crumb Cake by Stampin' Up!

Well that's all for now! Thanks for stopping by!
I will have another post up soon, I promise!
Hopefully my next post will be of my new and improved Craft Loft!

Week 4 Card Camp Creations!

I'm so sad Summer Card Camp is almost over! It was so much fun!
Here is creation #1!

This color combo is my favorite of the 4 weeks!
Green is my favorite color and it goes so well with blue!

I got the idea for this card from the latest Paper Crafts Magazine!
The idea is that the rectangles are purposely adhered crooked for a funky look!

Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Cardstock: Crumb Cake from Stampin' Up!
Letters and Die: Ashlyn's Alphabet Cricut cartridge
Ink: Martha Stewart

Here is Creation #2!
I used the scraps from Creation #1 and straightened things out a bit!

I feel like this card has a little of an Asian feel to it.
I didn't mean to, but I like it!

I also like that the patterned paper isn't taking over my card.
I kind of feel that way about Creation #1.

Yes, I know I spelled Thanks wrong...as my husband kindly pointed out!
I didn't have a green K and S, so X will have to do!

Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Cardstock: Whisper White and Crumb Cake from Stampin' Up!
Letters: Love Sticker Tablet from Deja Views

Well that's all folks! Thanks for stopping by!
